Blocks 6 and 7 are inserted, but there are two issues. You would need to specify ad dimensions as the ad code can’t determine available width. The second problem is page layout which doesn’t allow insertions there – post elements cover what is inserted inbetween. This theme is not suitable to display ads there.

For the header ad you can try to add bottom margin via custom CSS:
