Google Ads appearing when site is linked from Google search results

Google Ads have recently started appearing all over my site. I was alerted to them by someone else. If you visit the site directly, they do not appear. But if you google “Signs Journal” and click to the site, they are there. There should not be any ads on the site.

I have tried deactivating all my plugins but there was still an ad on the home page. I have also tried multiple security-scanning plugins and crawlers but they say the site is clean (WordFence, Site Health, others I can’t remember).
