Advanced-Wysiwyg extra buttons to add

Hi, recently, I have downloaded the Assaf Asarkin Advanced-Wysiwyg and it added some new buttons to the default wysiwyg editor in WP, which is as you all know is a bare bones TinyMCE.

Then I had problems with the tool menu length, but I managed to figure it out by adding new button rows to the TinyMCE.

Can someone show me how to add more extra buttons/functions to the TinyMCE? I think if you go to https://tinymce.moxiecode.com/tinymce/docs/reference_plugins.html

there are alot more plugins that can be used. I tried to edit the tiny_mce_gzip file and also the advanced_wysiwyg file, but no success. I’m missing something but I dont know what it is.

I edited the tiny_mce_gzip file by adding a function just after row 127 = ‘wphelp’…like adding ’emotions’. Then I edited the advanced_wysiwyg.php…by adding the button too.

No success for me..the button never appeared in the TinyMCE, can some kind soul point me on what to do?
