Advanced WP Column for Dummies

I just love this plugin, but, being a non-techy person it took me literally hours to understand how to use it… Therefore the title of my topic.
I would suggest to simply explain how your text gets inserted: when I clicked on the plugin icon in the editor, nothing happened and my columns showed empty, until I discovered that it was necessary to have the cursor set in my text before clicking the icon.
Very simple and straight forward as soon as you know it, but a source of perplexity when you don’t.
Just adding a line about it in you screenshots would help the dummy newcomers.
