We have Advanced Woo Search on our website and we also use Product Filtering by Woo be Woo (https://woobewoo.com/product/woocommerce-filter/)

Both work fine until you?search?for a product. When you search for a word, and when you use the full results page which has the filters on it, nothing shows up when you select something from the filter options?

When we remove type_aws=true from the URL it works OK though

We have done the settings / query hook but this didn’t work at all.

Is there anything else we could try?

    thanks

    Hi,

Sorry to hear that you faced with such an issue.

Please tell me – what version number of Product Filtering by Woo plugin you are currently using?

    Regards

    Hi @mihail-barinov

We are also experiencing the same exact issue, although the filtering plugin we use is ‘YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter‘.

Symptoms are the same. On the search result page, if there is “type_aws=true” in the URL and you try filtering for products, we get 500 internal server error during the ajax request.

    Error log:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_attributes() on bool /wp-content/plugins/advanced-woo-search/includes/class-aws-order.php:328

Using Advanced Woo Search version 3.12.

    Thanks

Perhaps this problem appears because you enabled search for product variations. Please open the plugin settings page -> Search Results page and check the ‘Variable products’ option. If product variations search is enabled here – try to temporarily disable it and check the search page one more time.

@mihail-barinov we are using the free version of the plugin so there is no option for Variable products under “Search results” page.

Looks like I found a way to solve this problem. Will release a fix with the next plugin version that must be available on Monday.

Thanks @mihail-barinov – will try as soon as update is available.

    Hi @mihail-barinov

After installing the update, the error 500 is resolved. However, the filtering plugin still fails when ‘type_aws’ is present in the URL.

When the URL includes type_aws=true, no results are found during filtering. Removing type_aws=true allows the filtering to work correctly and results are found.

Can you give me a link to the page with these filters?

Hi @mihail-barinov I wrote private email (did not want the URL to be on this forum).
