advanced shipping calculations don’t work

This ist a known issue. Normally, the formula should work in background, even if it’s not displayed.
Just try it.
This issue should have been solved with 8.5.0, but it’s even worse than 8.4.0.
I stepped back to 8.3.1

But be careful when using european number format (comma instead of point for decimals). Version 8.4.0 rounded decimals down (5 instead of 5,9).

I stepped back to 8.3.1 as well.

As Chris mentioned, this is set to be fixed on 8.5. There was an issue with the 8.5 release, so reverted the stable tag to 8.4. We expect to have a fix in place by Monday, January 15th, and release 8.5.1. More info can be found in the?release notes?for 8.5.
