Advanced Search Page

Hi – I want to have a basic search on the homepage with a link to go to an advanced search on another page. I have added the link and created a advanced search form for a page.

My problem is that when one does the advanced search, one goes to a results page that has the basic search form at the top of the page with the link to the advanced form. If the visitor wants to amend the form to get more results and clicks on the link, the previous form content is lost and they have to start from scratch. (They’d have to click on the back button to preserve the search form content.)

Any suggestions?
