    Hello,

    is it possible to make a search field more important than other fields. So if you take my site for example. Is it possible to make the field “Veranstaltungsdatum” (Date for event) in the search used alone. If i put a date here and leave the others fields blank that only the adverts with the particular date (Veranstaltungsdatum) shows up and not all adverts because i let the two other fields empty.

    This is how the search works by default, if you only enter a value in one field then only this field is being used when searching.

    Ok i but if i just put a date in the field “Veranstaltungsdatum” its not working. If you look at the adverts there is a “veranstaltungsdatum” also. If you take one of these dates to test it you will see.

    Maybe you have an idea what could be the problem.

    Just having the field in the form does not really do anything, how do you have the field configured to do the actual search?

    You are not using the Custom Fields editor so you need to use the adverts_list_query filter to customize the search, please see https://wpadverts.com/documentation/custom-fields-search-form/
