I use the advanced post widget to display recent posts in my website sidebar. Previously I used the classic widget. Now after the update, I changed it to the block style and I have some problems. The font size is not what I set is appearing. I set 16px but it shows like 15.49px something in pc and 14.23px something in mobile. I want it to be 16px in all devices. Also I used text decoration of underline to the post title. But on hover, the underline doesn’t take the hover color. Also before update in the classic widget, there was a numbered style option, like numbers inside a circle which was better looking. That option is missing.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @karthic24

The font size is actually not an issue. If you select a specific pixel font size, Gutenberg automatically calculates these to adjust them for mobile devices. Sadly, besides using the S/M/L/XL controls, there’s no way around this as this is simply how WordPress works – you can verify this very easily with the default themes.

From what I can see, the text decoration option works correctly. Are you still having problems with that?

And regarding the post numbered list, that is something that I’ll add to our to-do list for a future release to bring back.

    Thanks.
