    We are using Permissions for our site but find that it isn’t detailed enough for our business needs. I see that “Advanced Permissions” is advertised as being part of the Pro version but that’s very vague and doesn’t tell me enough details. Here is an example of what we are looking for – can you tell me if your Pro version satisfies a situation like this – detailed permissions by role?

    Tier 1:

    Able to edit content on draft pages and “save draft”
    Able to edit content on published pages and submit for review
    Able to select media files from the library
    Able to edit content within the Yoast plugin
    Able to upload media files to the library
    Able to create a net new page, save as a draft, and submit for review to publish
    Able to edit yoast settings on published pages and submit for review

    Tier 2:

    Able to edit content on draft pages and “save draft”
    Able to edit content on published pages and submit for review
    Able to select media files from the library
    Able to upload media files to the library
    Able to create a net new page, save as a draft, and submit for review to publish
    Able to edit Yoast settings on draft pages
    Able to edit yoast settings on published pages and submit for review
    Able to publish drafts
    Able to edit publish posts without submitting for review
    Able to remove media files from the library
    Able to delete draft posts
    Able to unpublish pages`

    Thanks for using PublishPress.

    Your list here probably requires 2 or 3 plugins: PublishPress Permissions, Capabilities, and Revisions.

    For example: controlling who can access Yoast settings requires the Pro version of our Capabilities plugin.

    Another example: edit content on published pages and submit for review requires our Revisions plugin.
