Advanced Options Settings – Moved from Blubrry to Libsyn

    A long time ago, I moved my podcast from Libsyn to Blubrry, so we imported all the media files from Libsyn to Blubrry.

    Recently, I decided to switch back to Libsyn, as I prefer that interface and their statistics.

    So, I need help on how to change the following Advanced Options:

    1) Import Podcast Box is currently checked – since I moved back to Libsyn, so I don’t know how to uncheck this box

    2) Migrate Media Box is currently checked – since I moved back to Libsyn, I don’t know how to get this box to uncheck.

    So, I can still use the Powerpress plugin with now being hosted on Libsyn.

    Please help.

    To clarify: you’re intending on continuing to use your PowerPress-generated podcast RSS feed along with Libsyn-hosted media files? Or are you migrating your podcast RSS feed and media files to Libsyn?

    Hi Shawn,

    I have migrated my media files to Libsyn.

    I have a new RSS feed at Libsyn: https://singleinstilettos.libsyn.com/rss

    But I was told to do a permanent redirect of the Blubrry feed to the Libsyn feed, which I did.
    Blubrry Feed: https://blubrry.com/singleinstilettos/

    I would like to continue to use PowerPress plug in with the Libsyn hosting.

    I can confirm your old podcast feed URL has been redirected to the Libsyn feed URL. You should be all set.

    If you want to still use PowerPress on your WordPress site, just follow the instructions on this site, using your Libsyn-hosted media file URLs:
    https://create.blubrry.com/resources/powerpress/powerpress-settings/services-stats/

    You will still have to also follow Libsyn’s procedure for publishing your episodes thru Libsyn’s dashboard. Libsyn does also have its own WordPress plugin you may find will serve you better than PowerPress. You should contact Libsyn support if you want to learn more about that.
