• In Photoshop CS6 I created a bar to put under my header on every page. It took multiple images to create this bar with some masking. I then added the icons I wanted. Once all that looked good, I sliced the image to place in links to be clicked on and direct to another URL.

I saved as web, HTML and Images, jpeg high, default settings and all slices. When I click on my file, it opens in a window, looks great and works perfectly! But… For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to place it into a page. ??

Since I’m not sure I will want it on every page, I’d like a way to place it on any page I want, but always under the header bar and at the right side.

When I add the image and the HTML file to a page they don’t work together. Image is just an image, HTML is a link to the working bar. Is there anyone out there that knows how to do this that could assist me?

I’d truly appreciate anyone’s help with this!

  • This will probably require creating a child theme to edit template files.

So you’re saying I cannot add an image with hyperlinks to a page using HTML? I’m somewhat knowledgeable here, but need a bit more info. ??

Yes, you can add hyperlinks that are images to a page, but do you want them to just show up on one page or all pages?

    Thanks for replying back!

I thought it would be easier to develop a page for you to look at and I explain again what I’m looking for.

    Example

Ah I see. It is as I thought, you will need to create a child theme in order to duplicate the header.php file of the parent theme and edit it so that the image with hyperlinks will show up on every page where the header is.
