    Hi there

Thanks for providing this plugin. I’ve noticed a small issue with the advanced header block. I’m using your Getwid Base theme.

When trying to use Playfair Display italic in the advanced header block, the browser is creating a ‘faux’ italic instead of displaying the italicized version of the font. This can be seen in the visual editor and when browsing the website.

On refreshing the page on the front end the proper, italicized font is shown briefly, before being replaced with the browser generated version.

This issue can be recreated in Chrome, Firefox and Brave. It works properly in Safari (on the front end at least, haven’t used the visual editor on Safari yet).

I haven’t tested any other fonts or font styles, but searching this issue (google fonts faux italic) suggests that it could also be happening with bold font versions.

    Thanks again,
    Bob

    Hello Bob,
We tested the issue for the Getwid Base theme and in the Chrome browser, but the selected Playfair Display italic font applied on the front-end.
Make sure to use the latest Getwid version (for now it is 1.3.1)
In case the issue still exists, could you provide us with step-by-step instructions on how to recreate this? Could you also provide the link to the page with the issue?
