I want an image as background for my heading, and I need an overlay to make the title visible, but the overlay on the background image goes over everything.

    Hello @rokkan

    Thank you for reaching out.

I checked the Essential Blocks Advanced Heading with an overlay background on my website, and everything is working as expected. For your reference, here’s a video demonstration of how it should function: https://d.pr/v/q6ESbO

To help me better understand the issue you’re experiencing, could you please share the video that shows the overlay problem along with the page URL where this is occurring? That information will be very useful in identifying any discrepancies.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thank you

    Hello

In the video you linked you can see the heading text being affected by the overlay on the background. You can see the opacity and blend mode change not just the background image but the text itself. I understand now the overlay is meant to do this, and I will have to upload images that work with the headings I need.

    Hello @rokkan

Thank you for your response! You’re absolutely right—the overlay is designed to interact with both the background and the text, which can affect the opacity and blend mode. Adjusting the images to complement the headings is a great approach.

If you have any suggestions for improving this behavior or would like more customization options in future updates, we’d love to hear your feedback as a feature request. Your input helps us enhance the experience for all users.

Let us know if you need any further assistance!

    Best regards,
