• Hi there, hope you doing well.

I have an big issue with your Advanced Gallery Block, the Lightbox Function and my Caching Plugin WP Rocket.

First, I use the Kadence Theme, The Kadence Blocks and WPRpocket!

At the weekend I want create a gallery carussel with the lightbox effect. I used 5 images, enabled lighthouse, I tested it and all works fine. After a few minutes, let it be a 15. I opened the blog post again, scrolled down to my carussel gallery, clicked on a image and nothing happend. At the position i clicked the blog post was freezing, and only a refresh of the website blog post helped.

I think, the carussel opened the image, but it don’t show the image with the blurry background and the closing button.

After trying and trying I figured out the one function in my caching pluging called wprocket and the advanced gallery lightbox function don’t work together.

When I enable the “remove unused CSS” function in wprocket, this issues in the kadence gallery block happen, after deactivating this option the gallery block work.

I tested the behavior with the Astra spectra blocks and their gallery block and it worked perfectly. So it seems that this is only an issue of the kadence gallery adv. block.

Do you have any ideas to fix this issue? Let the “remove unused css” disabled is no option for me. I tested it and without this option my loading time of my blogposts are unacceptable.

At the Moment I have the kadence gallery block disabled on my website, because I don’t want that my readers and customers have a freezing BlogPost-Site. That’s why I use at the moment spectra, but I want to use kadence blocks in future.

I hope you will have any idea or a fix to solve this problem.

    Best regards

    Hello

WP Rocket provides a safe list for the unused CSS feature. When using the lightbox feature, there is a CSS file you should add to the safe list. Add the file at /wp-content/plugins/kadence-blocks/includes/assets/css/kb-glightbox.min.css, and let us know if that solves the problem.
