• We are trying to develop a new set of pages with Kadence Blocks, so far they work beautifully. Thank you.

One big issue on the gallery in “masonry” view:

    – On first loading the page, images appear vertically squished into a pile of images.
    – When the user’s screen is re-sized, the gallery images expand to the proper size.

I can’t figure out what is triggering the issue, but it seems to happen only when there are a large number of images in a single gallery (this one has 15 images).

Password for the gallery is “nature”

    A screenshot is here:

Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Hey,
Your images don’t seem to have size information. This is preventing the intrinsic padding from loading each image in the size it would be when the image is actually loaded by the browser.

Select your gallery and in the thumbnail image option select an image size that you know all your images have. Then save. If that doesn’t update then we need to. find out why wordpress can’t get any image size information from your images. This could be that they are not actually on your wordpress site or you have some plugin changing how images work with wordpress.

    Brilliant!!!

There were some weird ‘thumnail size’ selectors from one of the old plugins, and it seems this was causing the issue.

When I set the thumbnail size in Advanced Gallery to one of the standard sizes generated by wordpress (or to ‘full size’) then it all seems to work beautifully.

    You rock Ben. Thank you.

BTW, your blocks are working magic on the site so far. We are all nature lovers too. Will try to convince the boss to do a membership ??

    Cheers,
    Patrick

Thanks for the response, glad to hear it’s working!
