    Hi

    I have managed to get the advanced feature working on my homepage which makes it super super fast but for some reason i cannot get it to work on any other page (the standard cache is working on all pages).

    Is there a way to get you guys to just have a look into it please to see if you can spot why please?

    As i say its making my homepage rocking fast so would love to get the rest of the site using it.

    Also for some reason my webp images are not appearing in chrome. I have optimise pro ticked and webp ticked in cache enabler too.

    Any help much appreciated!

  • The advanced snippet can get tricky if you aren’t overly familiar with your server’s config files or .htaccess. In such cases, we recommend sticking with the default setup as it is very close to using the advanced snippet.

    As for WebP, did you happen to optimize the images before you ticked the WebP option in Optimus? In this case you will need to re-generate and re-optimize the images.

    Please also check your uploads folder in the backend to ensure the webp images are being generated.

    Hey Cody,

    I’m not too bad with editing the htaccess and have the code in ok and as i say it seems to be really making my homepage much quicker than the rest of my pages.

    I’d love it if you could possibly take a peak, just incase you can spot the issue straight away. is this possible please? could i possibly email you now with some details please?

    I used to use webp with optimus and cache enabler a year or so ago but then i stopped. then i reticked the box today and hit the optimise all which then created webp images for the rest of the images since last year.

    Yes, checked the uploads folder and webp files are 100% there.

    How would i check if i need to regenerate and re optimise please? and if i need to how would i do that?

    I use a cdn, could that be an issue for webp?

    can i just add please, I’m also having an issue when i set my servers cache age time. It adds the line below to my htaccess.

    RewriteRule .* – [E=Cache-Control:max-age=1209600]

    this in turn then stops cache enabler working on all pages except for my homepage.

    Any ideas how i can fix this please? i really need my server cache in place but would love for cache enabler to still work, especially when i get webp working.

    Sorry to chase, i just wondered if you might have an idea on why have my server cache set to…

    is stopping Cache enabler from appearing on all pages expect for my homepage?

    if i can just get cache enabler working along side my server cache, my site will really be rocking.
