So please I hope you will post your tutorial soon, or help clear up just one last bit…

I’ve got the plugin installed, and installed the Chrome extension from Google Tag Manager – and I see the data layer fired properly:

The question is – how do I get this all to show up in Analytics – the GA documentation is not really clear on what the setup is.

For example in the tag creation, I can select transaction – it looks like this:

But I can also select Event or Page View – which have an ecommerce option, with a sub-checkbox to use the data layer.

One of the documentation articles I found seemed to indicate that this is all one needs to push whatever is in the data layer into GA:

However i tried a few test purchases – first with the old version of GTM – where I used the
    {{event}} equals gtm4wp.orderCompleted

This did record the transaction – but I didn’t see the Checkout page in the funnel.

Also none of the products viewed were recorded in GA – though I see the data layer with that info on the /shop page and on the /checkout page.

So – am I supposed to create a Transaction Tag, an Event tag with ecommerce, Page View Tag with Ecommerce – and in the new version of GTM – there isn’t a place to set the RULE(now called trigger) to gtm4wp.orderCompleted…. so set to DOM Ready?
