Advanced Custom Fields Conflict

  • On my site I have been using your plugin (Code Embed) very much with a success.

    Recently however, due to the process of creating a new template I had to install an Advanced Custom Fields plugin. It seems to be in conflict with Code Embed in a way that it is no longer showing Code Embed Metabox in Page Editor. The issue is critical as I am actively using {{CODE}} embbeds and can’t edit those fields.

    I am using Classic Editor 1.6.2, WordPress 5.7.2, PHP 7.3.10, Code Embed 2.3.4, ACF 5.11.3.

    What can I do to manage the situation?

    Hi,

    The meta box is not created by this plugin but is part of the standard WordPress editor. If ACF is suppressing this, then you will need to speak to the developers of this plugin – as there is with Gutenberg, there may be a way to switch customer meta boxes back on.
