Hi, I’ve been adding ACF fields for date and time pickers and ran into an issue where the ACF time picker fields would not show.

Going through the plugin list and disabling one at a time, it appears that this plugin is conflicting with the ACF time picker component.

Hopefully this will be resolved in future updates as until that time I will have to disable this plugin as ACF is sadly a “must have”.

FYI No JS conflict is shown in the console.

    Hi @mark_kendall,

This has been raised before. Both plugins use the same library. We are both equally guilty here. In the pro version AutoSocial I have developed additional work to use a different library for those using ACF, so you may wish to check that out.

    Thanks,

I fully agree that there is no “blame” here and I did make the effort to try and make that clear in my original post and was only trying to make the point in a subtle way that as ACF provides a huge amount of essential functionality for developers, it is likely that your plugins uptake and your reputation as plugin developers is likely to suffer as a result and so if there is a fix that you can make to mitigate the conflict, it may be of benefit to you.

I am a big fan of your work and once again, I do understand the 50/50 nature of the conflict.

Thanks @mark_kendall, I don’t have the resources at the moment to put this on the free version, as it will take me around a day. I have spent a lot of time on the pro version making it as good as possible and trying to make that work out.
