Advanced Custom Fields and Highwind

I’m trying to customize Highwind for use with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, to use WordPress for a CMS for a small website at the library where I work, but I’m finding some of Highwind’s theme hierarchy a bit difficult to decipher.

I’ve got ACF’s fields all set up properly in the WordPress dashboard, but I’m not exactly sure where I should place the ACF custom code to make the content show up in the template.

In simpler themes, I would have a custom template file (based on the page.php file) that I’d use for a particular page type. But Highwind’s page.php file uses includes, and I’m not sure whether I should add the ACF code to content.php or to page.php. Could you give me a nudge in the right direction? Thanks in advance!
