Hi – I have a kind of event calender on my website. I want to create a newsletter which should beed sendt for any new event. With the widget “automatic for new content”, this works in principle – but:
Start and enddate of the events are “advanced custom fields (ACF)”.
Q: How is it possible to integrate ACF into the newsletter? Sending an event without start and enddate make few sense …

    Hi there @mgoerls ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’m afraid that ACF is not currently integrated with MailPoet.

To achieve what you want you’d probably need some custom code. If that’s a path you’d like to take, you can reach out to someone from Codeable: https://codeable.io.

You’re also welcome to add it as an integration suggestion here https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

Ok, bad news! To send new events without dates are rather … senseless. So the whole function “new content” becomes … senseless for me!
You wrote that one can solve this by writing custom code. How can I do this? Which files I have to modify?
To offer developers of “Codeable” is unsatisfying and as well a bit dubious. As a subscriber of your “PRIORITY support”, I expect a solution, how “I” can write such custom code.

P.S.: I think, to offer (paid) custom development within the WordPress forum is not the way you should solve problems with your plugin.

    Hi there @mgoerls,

If you have a paid plan, feel free to contact us via our contact form for Premium users: https://www.mailpoet.com/support/premium/

However, please note that even for Premium users, we do not provide support with plugin customizations: https://www.mailpoet.com/support-policy/

A missing compatibility with a third-party plugin is not exactly a bug in our plugin. Our dev team is now focused on releasing new features and fixing existing bugs instead.

As my colleague mentioned earlier, if you need help with custom code, you can reach out to someone from Codeable.

    Cheers!
