Advanced Custom Fields

  • Am I right in saying that this plug-in although it will target ‘custom fields’, will NOT do a find and replace in the whole database to include Advanced Custom Fields’.
    I repeatedly find Advanced Custom Fields are untouched by this plug-in – so thumbnails and assets refs remain broken here once the site’s moved.

  • I plugin only does a find and replace in the posts, links and postmeta tables. As the new author, I am looking into ways that the plugin can do a full find and replace. There is some serious hurdles to overcome though due to the way some values are stored in arrays as serialized values.

    keep updated and I will try to get some movement in updates within the next month or so.
