I don’t see any custom fields when trying to map. are advanced custom fields not supported? because that would be ideal.

    php version 5.3.29
    wordpress 4.6.1

  • Yes, custom fields are supported. You will need to choose “Custom Fields” in the Mapped WordPress Field dropdown, then select, or type the meta key which you are using for your ACF field. Screenshot: https://b.ustin.co/gAB4

thank you. It’s weird because the other day I could choose “custom fields” but the next section didn’t have my fields. I wonder if one page had to be published first or if the archive template had to exist or something. But it’s there now and I’m so grateful!

Ah yes, that makes sense. The available fields in the next section is cached for about 24 hours. Also, it will only show meta keys for custom fields which have been saved to the database. Which means, if you created your ACF fields, but didn’t actually save any data to them, the field ids would not show. It is our goal to introduce better ACF support in future versions.

But do keep in mind, you can always manually add a meta key there.

it worked for basic stuff but doesn’t map to flexible layout rows. (also confusing because the flexible rows were shown twice in the dropdown, the second time with and underscore in front. i tried both). bummer.
