Advanced Content Type and custom taxonomy

Have you tried adding a relationship field? Relationship fields can be added to any content type, and relate to just about anything in WordPress.

WordPress only allows post types and taxonomies to be related to each other, not to anything else. We’re looking into a new option in the future that will let you use taxonomies in the way you’re thinking of.

I have finally found away to make this work using as you suggested relationship fields. However, I am forced to use a custom WP_Query() instead of pods(). Is there another way?

What trouble are you having with using pods()?
