My site is using links in Hebrew, they looks good on the URL but saved something like
%d7%aa%d7%a0%d7%95%d7%a4%d7%aa-%d7%9e%d7%aa this is the URL decoded and this cause 403 error, how can I fix this? Is there other option that can cause problems when using non English characters?

    Hi @mstudioil,

Can you please try to disable one by one below settings and cross check basically in query string or request URI have the chars that is not allowed, due to that it may be creating issue and rasing 403 error.

    1) Deny bad query string – WP Security > Firewall > PHP rules tab. Deny bad query strings: uncheck the checkbox and save
    2) Advanced char filter – WP Security > Firewall > PHP rules tab. Enable advanced character string filter :uncheck the checkbox and save
    3) 5g firewall rules – WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist firewall rules tab. Enable legacy 5G firewall protection uncheck the checkbox and save
    4) 6g firewall rules – WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist firewall rules tab. Enable 6G firewall rules – uncheck the checkbox and save

?Deny bad query string is active

Advanced char filter is like “Advanced character string filter” ? it is inactive

    ?5g firewall rules is inactive

    6g firewall rules is active

the problem is only when Advanced character string filter is active

    Hi @mstudioil

If the problem is with Advanced character string filter is active please keep it inactive.

There will be some characters used that are not allowed in that future that is why it may show 403 forbidden error.

Thanks for answer, you mean characters like % ?
So any URL that is it and it not on English will not work?

    Hi @mstudioil,

Yes, char like % etc are not allowed when Advanced character string filter feature is enabled,

It will not work with any other language (English etc) also as it checks for REQUEST_URI to have any such char it will raise 403 error.
