Activating the Advanced Character String Filter option denies access to media files containing the words ‘function’ or ‘config’. The thumbnails are shown correct in the media manager but if you click on edit the original image is not shown

Hi, go to WP Security -> Firewall -> Basic Firewall Rules and use this feature to enable a customize version of the Advanced Character String Filter Option you mentioned above. Make sure you remove the words ‘function’ or ‘config’. After you have added the customize rule make sure you disable Advanced Character String Filter Option.

The above should fix your issue. Please remember to read the instructions before enabling this feature.

Let me know if you need more help.

    Regards

Thank you for your response but I am afraid I dont understand what you say. Which feature shall I use? On the Basic Firewall tab is not customization. Why should I disable the Advanced Character String Filter if there would be a exclusion list? Please be more specific.
