• Hi all,

I have the following issue and have no idea how to rectify it:

    The file srv/htdocs/wp-content/advanced-cache.php already exists.

Can someone explain what I need to do. I’m not very technical but can follow instructions.

    Thanks
    Andy

  • Were there other instructions on the page where that error showed? They will help.

I have the same error when I want to activate the plugin,
This is because of WP Optimize plugin which is already installed and which created a file with the same name in the /wp-content folder.
    So what can I do?

I haven’t used the WP Optimize plugin but if it creates that file there’s nothing this plugin can do. Only one plugin can use it at a time (unless you hack it so it calls code from both plugins but I wouldn’t do that).
