    Hi Michael!
Since I installed the plugin, I am getting load times that went from 1.9 seconds up to 4 secs (using both pagespeed and gtmetrix). I don’t know if it’s normal behaviour, caused by the call to google external javascripts.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi jcv,

    thanks for reaching out.

There is no Michael related to Advanced Ads, I hope I can answer as well ??

Advanced Ads does not add anything to the frontend of your site unless you are managing ads with it. Due to the nature of ads to either load content from other URLs, like Google AdSense or even with static image ads loading an image file, there is always some addition to loading times. Ad networks take a heavy toll on it and there is nothing an ad plugin can do about it. Running a website with 40 MM page impressions per month with Advanced Ads on it kept me looking for opportunities to do that for some time ??

Let me know if you have a specific resource in the report you are not sure of and I am happy to take another look.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

Thanks for your quick answer, Thomas ??

I was actually wondering if some google js could be cached the way CAOS plugin does with google analytics? It dramatically improved the load time of my website at the time.

Might be against the adsense CLUA, though. But worth asking…

Congrats for your very good plugin, btw. As a said in my review, should I be able to make money with it (I need much more traffic before making it!) I will definitely support you.

    Hi jcv,

    > Might be against the adsense CLUA, though. But worth asking…

I actually asked AdSense directly some time ago and their engineers suggested rather not doing it due to issues that might come from outdated versions.

As a plugin developer, I need to guarantee that ads keep working with the features we are adding. A single publisher can make their own experiments…

    Best regards,
    Thomas

    Thanks for your response, Thomas.
Google analytics said the same regarding their javascript. However, I don’t see why there could be an issue if the javascript, hosted on the website, is updated let’s say every 24 hours. I mean, there is probably a longer delay between a new functionality or bug fixed and the actual update of the javascript on the Google CDNs ??

Anyway, thanks again for your response.
