Advanced Ads – Sidebar Ad in mobile display no good

    Hello,

    I hope you are all doing well and staying safe (from COVID).

    I am currently using Advanced Ads to insert 1 ‘sidebar ad’ plus 2 ‘main content ads’ to the pages/posts of my site.

    Everything looks great from a desktop computer, however the mobile view is not right. The ‘sidebar ad’ does not show up until the very bottom of the page/post. This is totally ineffective.

    For mobile browsers, is there a way to move the ‘sidebar ad’ up closer to the top of my page/post content?

    Hi Mark,

    thanks for reaching out.

    I suggest creating extra ad units for the mobile view of your website. And maybe disable the desktop fitting ones.

    You can sort them out by using the device condition on them.

    For example, add an extra “before content” placement with ads only visible on mobile to get more mobile visitors to see the ad.

    The down pushing sidebar is a feature of your theme and not changeable by Advanced Ads.
