Advanced Access Manager 1.6.2 network issue

Hello,
Advanced Access Manager has worked great for the WordPress network I have at https://music.arts.uci.edu/crooksj–thanks vasyl_m
Suddenly, however, two problems are occurring:
1) Authors at one site can add posts to any site in the network by manually changing the URL
2) Sometimes people with author profiles lost the create post capability.
I have changed the Author role to include “unfiltered html” and also have the “Unfiltered MU” plug in running.
I can fix 2 by going to “capabilities”–which is all unchecked for affected users–and/or changing their password.
I recently uninstalled Multisite User Management to try to fix this issue.
