[Theme: Customizr] Advance Custom Fields with Customizr

How do I get the advance custom fields made from the plugin, I created to show? I looked at tutorials and they said to change the single.php file, but my understanding of Customizr is that it uses hooks instead so it doesn’t have that file? How can I display custom fields? I tried following this [link] with using the built in custom fields, but it did not work.

Basically I want the users to be able to create stories (which are basically posts but with a field for tracking number and location). Thank you.
