• I have an erotic fiction blog with wordpress both .com and .org and didn’t realise that it might not be suitable content. Am I allowed to have an erotic content on word press? it is not porn, there are no pictures. Also I wanted to use adsense but have found I can’t use adsense. Am i allowed to put more adult type of adds on my site to make money?

  • What subject material you post on your wp.org site is between you and your hosts. However, I would suggest that you check the terms & conditions for what is – and isn’t – allowed on wordpress.com site.

I read the ToS and I believe it says something like no pornography, which I don’t think that erotic fiction falls under this category however if I want to post adds I have to go through an adult affiliate program and I am not sure of the content they will post and if it will be allowed. I found the terms and conditions a bit unclear on this point?

You need to ask any wordpress.com questions on the wordpress.com site.

Any www.remarpro.com questions relating to your content are subject to your hosts’s and any other relevant body’s terms and laws.

Of note. If YOUR URL is whatever.com and is NOT hosted by WordPress.com, then the wordpress.com rules DO NOT apply to you.

The only reason the wordpress.com rules apply is if THEY do the hosting.
