    Hi!
    I’m having the following message trying to connect my AdSense to Google SiteKit plugin:

    Ad blocker detected, you need to disable it in order to set up AdSense.

    A few notes:
    – I’ve tried this in PC Chrome and Edge;
    – I’ve tried this in Iphone Safari and Chrome;
    – I’ve cleaned the cache everywhere;
    – I deactivate Caching in the only optimizer I have: SiteGround Optimizer;
    – I deactivate Caching on my SiteGround Site Tools;
    – I’ve used two Adblocks Chrome extensions to deactivate Adblocks;
    – I deactivated my firewall and web protections;

    None of the above solved the problem!

    – I have a Cloudflare CDN and did not deactivated it;
    – My AdSense is configured and working normally, but I cannot connect SiteKit.
    – I already have ads on the site showing on.

    Please help!

    Thank you!

    @infogoodscomp Many thanks for sharing your console errors. While these console errors look similar to those identified for GoDaddy impacted users can you share whether these console errors are from your primary Site Kit dashboard or from the AdSense specific tab, when setting up the module? If from the Site Kit primary tab please also share any additional console errors from the AdSense tab (Site Kit > AdSense)

    I’ve also performed some additional checks with a variety of SG Optimizer configurations although I’ve been unable to recreate the same notice so far. I’ll check this with the team.

    Hi, James!

    That console error is exactly from the AdSense specific tab.

    THank you, James, I’ll be waiting!

    In the mean while, could you answer me two questions?

    1) Does that impacts in revenue?

    2) Why Google Chrome blocks by default their own ads (Google AdSense)? Because I had to go that little locker before the url to disable AdBlocks in order for Ads of some pages to show?
    Note: I did it before installing Site Kit plugin.

    Thank you!

    No problem at all. See below:

    Does that impacts in revenue?

    No, it won’t have any impact on your revenues. Ads will remain on your site, as you already have the AdSense snippet placed. It only impacts viewing your AdSense revenue from within the Site Kit dashboard.

    If you’re finding ads are not appearing for you from Chrome I would suggest checking up with the AdSense Help Center, where the product experts should be able to assist. If you do have a Chrome extension with Ad Blocker features this may be the cause. From my inspection of your site (using a Chrome browser) I do encounter ads placed.

    Hi! Do you guys have a prediction on this problem should be solved? Because I want to use Updraft Plus to create a Backup to Google Drive and it also cause conflict, right? If I do the back up, could I just deactivate the plugin when you ask me to test and continue troubleshooting?

    Thank you!
