Hi, I’m in the process of joining AdSense. I’ve placed the AdSense script in the head section of the site but it looks like the script is being slightly modified by the Compliantz plugin?

    The code should be:

    <script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-xxx" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

however, on my page looks like this:

    <script type="text/plain" data-service="general" data-category="marketing" async="" data-cmplz-src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-xxx" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>

Is this normal? Can it be avoided while AdSense it reviewing my site? I’m not serving any ads right now.

    Hi @lauratraveler,

It is indeed expected behavior, however, in the event that your testing or verification purposes require it: you could decide to temporarily de-activate the Cookie Blocker under Complianz -> Wizard -> “Finish” -> Enable Cookie Blocker -> “No”.

    Kind regards, Jarno
