• I almost feel like adding adsense immediately strikes your blog out of listings…do you think this is true?

The reality is, unless a blog is huge, I don’t know how advantageous having adsense is to your blog, I don’t think it is a big money maker for a novice blogger….so to share your enthusiasm with your blog, do you think it actually hurts you by having it placed in?

I am thinking about eliminating it from mine.

  • Long as your are getting a couple thousand visits I think it can be worth it. I think the main thing is just making sure the ads are placed well and blend into the site.

Do you think it hurts the start up blog?

Is it easy to blend the adds, I know at this time they appear on my sidebar.

We can’t add adsense our wordpress just blogger. If you have blogger. Go for it. Good luck also.

cozmetic, start by deciding how many ads you want to run at “full capacity”, then begin by implementing just a few. Slowly add more ads towards your “full capacity” goal as your audience grows. You won’t scare away new readers when you start out, and you won’t upset your fans too much if you add them in slowly. For a new blog, Adsense will not be a big money maker, but it will pay off eventually.

nikla1, you can add Adsense to any self-hosted WordPress blog.
