• I pasted my AdSense code into my text widget within themes. The Sidebar_right radio button is activated and in position #1. However, my AdSense ad is not showing up on my https://www.ronson-lighters.com website. My Java script is enabled and my pop up blocker is turned off. I have emptied my cashe, cleared my cookies, and restarted my browser, but my AdSense ad is still not showing up. Please help! I have been stuck for two weeks trying to figure out what I am doing wrong. When I go to my website through my browser and right click to view source, I don’t see my code anywhere. Is there a way to get to my html code and paste the code in manually? I am new to this, and this is my first website. Thank you in advance for you support!

    Thank you for responding and helping me out! Here is the exact code below, I copied and pasted it below directly from my widget:

    <script type=”text/javascript”><!–
    google_ad_client = “ca-pub-4783328485204133”;
    /* My Ronson Lighters Sidebar */
    google_ad_slot = “7210375802”;
    google_ad_width = 160;
    google_ad_height = 600;
    //–>
    </script>
    <script type=”text/javascript”
    src=”https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js”&gt;
    </script>

    try putting normal text in the widget to see if it shows up as a test, if it does then the text widget is not accepting your script code, get a plugin to display it instead, hope it helps

    Just place any text? I don’t have to put in all that script language? Like just put in my name…Michelle…and that’s all I need for the test?

    yes

    I put in my name:

    Michelle
    Michelle
    Michelle

    Went to my website via browser, and did not find my name anywhere in the website.

    it looks like your sidebar is not working/showing then in your theme ??

    Is this a big problem? Am I using a bad theme? This theme was recommended to me. In your opinion, what do I do now? What do you suggest?

    Could I possibly have something set wrong in my flexibility 3 theme settings that is preventing the AdSense ad from showing up? What do you think? Your thoughts?

    I would go to the theme developer and ask theme how to turn on/show your sidebar/s, hope it helps

    I made a couple of changes in the sidebar settings.

    1) I selected “YES”, that I wanted to display an AdSense block at the top of the right sidebar.

    2) I choose a size of ad to display at the selected location, I choose 250×250

    3) I then tried both ways, placing the code in the widget and then placing normal text in the widget.

    RESULTS: I see a white box flashing and then dissapearing very quickly in my sidebar.

    Hmmmm… you thoughts? Thank you for helping me trouble shoot this.

    I found out the problem. I had my top sidebar box visibility set to no. It needed to be set to yes. A big thanks to everyone that helped me to figure this out.
