    Hi team,

I implemented AdSense for the first time this week, alongside Complianz.

Everything seems to be working ok but I do get the following warning in my console on any page which displays ads:

AdSense head tag doesn’t support data-cmplz-src attribute.

I’ve searched your forum and the closest thread I could find was this (unfortunately I’m not tech literate enough to understand the solution provided).

Adsense is connected to my site via Site Kit (similar to the thread above).

Any possible solutions would be much appreciated.

And thanks for creating such an awesome plugin!

    Hi @nomadicyak,

When Complianz blocks the ‘adsbygoogle.js’ script before consent is obtained, it also adds the data-cmplz-src parameter so that it can load the script after consent has been provided.

This warning won’t “break” the ads, as can also be seen on your page; they are loaded after consent is provided. The warning that AdSense logs in the console is intended to help catch issues (such as when using mistyped or deprecated adsbygoogle data attributes).

    Kind regards, Jarno
