It can take some time for the AdSense team to review accounts and sites so this is not unusual after 4 days to be awaiting approval. If you’d like to share your Site Health information here or privately via this form I can check this, although this is something you can check yourself by visiting your AdSense account or reviewing your Site Health information on your site (Tools > Site Kit > Info > Site Kit > AdSense account status).
In relation to the email I suspect this may be an automated email when your account or site is not approved, while me be ignored. Alternatively it may be an alert if your site needs action before approval.
