    HI,

First, what an amazing theme! Very easy to use and also on the eyes… My favorite and I use it for a few months now.

Strangely since I added Adsense on my site, a few days ago, the secondary menu gpt all broken up. actually when I added the adsense feature for ads on mobile phone.
The whole page got scrambled as you will see.
It is the add that appears in the secondary menu that does this for some reason, since
It kicks the menu on top, than the ad below with wide wide white screen,
    then my website
    Is this fixable?
I know this might also be an Adsense problem, but I don’t see this problem appearing on other websites..

Thanks a lot for your help..
    Pierre

    Hi Pierre,

Thanks for the kind word! I’m glad you like the theme ??

For the ads, are you including the code into the theme files, or using one of the provided widget areas (Appearance > Widgets)?

    Hi Ben,

I used the code in header of the theme. That takes care of the ads placement automatically. but something in the secondary menu doesn’t work.

I guess I will use widgets instead.

    Hi Ben,
I would add that I would prefer to simply put the adsense code in the header to get the adsense option of random ad placement they offer.
Doing it manually is not ideal for me.
But something in the theme is broken because when I use that adsense auto fonction the top of the page gives a big white and ad. I added the adsense code in header, but disengaed the automatic random ads from adsense. It is on auto only for the mobile fonction.
The broken part is related to the secondary menu that goes up, on top of everything. It adds a down banner over the ligo. maybe because my logo is a page wide size.
    As shown on the photo.
    Any idea?

I would recommend sticking to widgets for the most reliable implementation. This will ensure the code is output cleanly and the ad is worked into the design too.

If you need some additional features for your ad display, check a plugin like Quick Adsense. This will provide you with widgets you can use to display the ads plus a host of additional features.

If there is a specific place you want the ad displayed in the header that Mission News doesn’t have a widget for yet, let me know and I can include a new widget area in an update.

    Thank you Ben,
I did just that I put my ads in with it but really I would put them all within the posts through paragraphs.
I already installed quick ads, but strangely through this extension nothing shows, only the one in widgets do.
Am I the only one this happens to ?

Hmm I’m not exactly sure why Quick Ads wouldn’t work for the in post ads. Could you use Quick Ads for the ad that was causing the issue with the secondary menu and insert the ad code yourself for other positions like inside the posts?

    Hi Ben,
After investigating I found out that Google analytics was the problem blocking the ad extension.
I haven’t fully finished installing it and obviously it was doing something to block the ads auto inserting.
Thanks a lot for your fast help on this
