Adsense Ads Not Working – Need Help

  • Hi,

    Firstly, I apologise if this has been asked on numerous occasions, but I can’t find answers.

    Ads are not showing on my 2nd website this week (www.tastefullyvikkie.com). I don’t recall uploading a verification html code to the site either and expected I would need to, nor can I find one anywhere to upload. I think it appears as the site has been verified, but again, not 100% sure.

    I’ve managed to add ad codes using text widgets to my site (24th Nov) and also separately installed and activated a google adsense plugin and nothing is coming up. Maybe they conflict with each other? (Note: only an Amazon affiliate link I put on is working).

    Hope someone can help. I would be forever grateful for a solution as it’s all rather stressful!

    Here’s more info if it can shed any light? (I’ve just found in a google search that the official google adsense plugin puts the code in for you).

    But another couple of points are:

    1. The plugin says I’m “Ready for Automated Mobile Ads” but I have noticed there are crawl errors on https://www.tastefullyvikkie.com/mobile

    2. Adsense also says: “Your account is awaiting approval. AdSense shows blank ads until your account is approved….”

    Crossing my fingers someone can help!

    You have to wait until your account is approved. Could take up to 2 weeks for some people.

    Thanks for your quick response, Tech55541. I’ve constantly been questioning whether I’ve done anything wrong. It’s all new to me.

    No, based on what you told me, everything is fine. All you have to do is wait. You should get an email when your account is approved.

    Hi again Tech55541,

    Is it normal to wait 6 months for ads to appear? It’s still saying waiting for a approval on the Adsense WordPress app.
