    Hi alexa111,

congrats on your approved AdSense account.

    > there is only 1 bottom strip ad on mobile and no add is there on desktop

This is a very common behavior of Auto ads on new websites / accounts and nothing to worry about. Over time, Auto ads will start appearing on desktop, too.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Hello,

thanks a lot for your quick reply and wish.

On the desktop, the website is showing 1 ad which is not in the article. It is at the end, after comment box and related posts.

On mobile, it is showing 4 ads (1 after comment box, 2 in the footer, 1 as a skippable sticky strip at the bottom of the page.)

Kindly let me know should I wait or should I add manual ads in articles while keeping auto ads?

    Prayers!

    Hi alexa111,

    thanks for your feedback.

AdSense Auto ads are self-optimizing. While you have limited control over the positions of those ads, they can have a good base performance in terms of revenue.

I personally like to have control over my ad setup though and increate the amount of ads where users see them (so not in the footer) and still not overdo it.

If you are just starting with your project and have only a few thousand visitors per month then focus on growing your user base and not micromanaging ads. You can come back to placing AdSense ads manually when your project is growing.

    Does this make sense?

    Best regards,
    Thomas

    Hello,

Really thanks for a quick response again.

    Your advice is the best.

I just don’t want google to show ad in footer. How can I stop them? They look strange.

There are some control options for Auto ads in your AdSense account.

Go to Ads and click on the Edit icon next to the appropriate site. You should see some options for Auto ads and even be able to disable certain positions.

    Good luck!

    Best regards,
    Thomas
