    My adsense and adbrite ads don’t appear in my posts.

    Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong. I have tried may plug-ins along with manual ad insertion, but nothing is working.

    I see a blank spot on my pages, but no ads. The site has been up for about 3 days and still nothing showing except the large blank rectangle.

    Is this normal.

    I will provide any other info you need if someone is willing to help.

    I don’t see why HostGator doesn’t let you use ad codes. What happens if you use Server Side Includes to embed ad codes?

    So this is a HostGator issue? Is it only with WordPress? I have other HostGator hosted sites that accept adsense.

    I figured it out. I needed to install WordPress through the HostGator cpanel->fantastico and not a ftp program. All is working!
