    Hi Thomas,

I have deleted ad inserter and just using your plugin. There is a strange thing. I am using short code to display the adsense ad. When the ad is showing, my page (at the before Content area) got a space randomly created with nothing showing on it. When I check the Google developer ad, it shows the following iframe under #document

    <!DOCTYPE html><html><head><script>window.top.postMessage(‘{“msg_type”:”resize-me”,”key_value”:[{“key”:”r_nh”,”value”:”0″},{“key”:”qid”,”value”:”CPOE_qghjjffhjjkkkg”}],”googMsgType”:”sth”}’, ‘*’);</script><script>window.top.postMessage(‘{“msg_type”:”adsense-labs”,”key_value”:[{“key”:”settings”,”value”:”[\\\”ca-pub-384934485495\\\”]”}],”googMsgType”:”sth”}’, ‘*’);</script></head></html>

It does not appear when the adsense ad is not showing.

Do you have any idea what this is and how do I remove it?

    Thank you!

    Hi Thomas,

The ad was added in the ad tab of the plugin. – https://prnt.sc/pn0uo8
The size was set to 300 x 250.

However it is not showing in the page. it is blank – https://prnt.sc/pn0vyf

I checked the policy site and there is no violation.

    Any idea?

    Thank you!

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

I can see the static ads. Please see https://ibb.co/0Dbpbhx.

Are they showing up for you now as well?

    Best regards,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

Is it showing for you on mobile device as well? if so, is the size correct for you?

    Thank you!

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

you are right, it is still not working. The ad size was just 300×250 by accident. The ad is still not using a fixed size, but is fully responsive. Please create an ad unit in your AdSense account that has a fixed size of 300×250 and test it.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hello Thomas,

Thank you for the suggestion. I have created a fixed 300×250 via adsense account and added the ad using your plugin. It is not showing for me. Is it showing for you?

    Thank you!

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

I still see the issue and no or only occasional ads. You either need to flush your cache if you made a change or check again if they were published.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

I was able to see the ad after I clear my browser cache. It is showing the center position on the desktop. However, in mobile, it is always aligned to the right side. Any idea how to make it center? I have already set a center position using your plugin.

Any idea? Thank you so much!

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

I am happy to read that it works now.

The problem on smaller devices is that the widget is narrower than the ad so centering it doesn’t work properly. AdSense does actually ignore the sizes a bit and shows a larger ad. Please check in your AdSense account if you have an option selected that allows AdSense to dynamically adjust the size. Or uncheck the “Full width responsive ads on mobile” option under Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense to tell AdSense that they should not dynamically adjust the size.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi abcwpgrandpa,

I am not managing the forum and can’t delete anything. According to the forum guidelines, content is not removed with only few exceptions. I personally don’t see such an exception here, but you can reach out in the “forum” Slack channel if you think otherwise.

    Best regards,
    Thomas
