Adsense account working but won’t connect with site kit

@ourhomeobsession When setting up Site Kit did you use the same Google account associated with your AdSense account? Please share your site URL along with Site Health information so we can troubleshoot further.

Yes, I believe they are the same account. When I open site kit in my wordpress it is the same email (in the top right corner) as the email associated with adsense. My analytics in site kit is working fine and that also has the same account. My URL is

How do I send you site health info? The only issue I have is a critical one by Exactmetrics stating hte following…We have detected multiple tracking codes! You should remove non-ExactMetrics ones.

I’m watching this thread: having the same problem. Same account on WordPress and on AdSense, but Site Kit doesn’t see my AdSense account.

@ourhomeobsession thanks for the URL. I see in your site’s source code that there are two code snippets for Adsense: one from Site Kit and one that may be inserted by another plugin/ theme. I see this comment around the second snippet:

Site Kit may not recognize the way this code is being added. Do you know how this is being inserted?

Thank you, I noticed something odd was going on. Probably a remnant from a previously used analytics plugin. Anyway, I cleaned it up so there’s only a single property id in use now.

I have to admit that as I looked more deeply into this, I realized I was confused: I was trying to connect Site Kit to Google Ads, not AdSense! Two very different things, but nevertheless I confused the two.

@ourhomeobsession It looks like you have paced Auto ads code within your theme.

Please try remove that snippet before trying to setup Site Kit. Let us know if that works for you.
