Adsense 80% of traffic is invalid

    Hello, we are using the adsense addon for AA and end up with Google saying about 80% of the clicks are invalid traffic.

    We have setup AA, cloudflare and google analytics to try to bounce the bots, is there anything else we should be looking into on the plugin side to avoid so much of the traffic being classified as invalid by Google? As you know they are not very forthcoming with detailed information on why they consider the traffic invalid.

    Hi Bozz,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    In this article, we have compiled everything you need to know about invalid traffic.
    I don’t assume that you click on your own ads. It would be best if you never do that, not even for testing purposes.

    If you insert AdSense ads manually and don’t use auto ads, then click fraud protection would be another measure to avoid invalid traffic.

    Thanks for the response! We are using your click fraud protection (max 2 clicks). It’s a fairly high traffic site. We don’t click our own ads. I have read through your article which has been quite helpful. Unfortunately we are still seeing these numbers and our ad placements are industry standard inside of blog posts. Any other guidance you might have would be appreciated.

    If you already use the click fraud protection, I want kindly ask you to reach out to our support team. Please, add a link to this thread as a reference. I want to check if the click fraud protection works on your site or if there are any issues.

    If you also use our Tracking add-on, we might find out more information about WHO is clicking your ads. But both topics are related to add-ons of Advanced Ads, while this forum is suited only for the basic version hosted here on www.remarpro.com.
