    Hello!

    still getting the adsense warning “One of your sites is missing the AdSense publisher ID in the ads.txt file”

    have placed the ads.txt in the general section of the advanced ads settings and have enabled it. just under this, there is a message “A third-party file exists: https://beardstylingtips.com/ads.txt”

    please help resolve this.

    thanks for reaching out.

    As the message suggests, another ads.txt exists already. There should be an option to import the content of that file and create one through Advanced Ads next to the ads.txt options.

    Hello Thomas,

    Thanks for your message.

    Tried the option of ‘import and replace’ , comes back with message ‘file was not created’

    Also clicked on ‘check for promlems’ button but comes back with a message ‘could not find the existing ads.txt file’

    Please let me know- what else I can try.

    Hi dsk2121,

    unfortunately, this means that you can only edit the existing ads.txt file using the method that originally created it.
