    Hi ??

I have a problem ?? I run a news website and it takes a long time before ads appear on new posts (approx 2 hours)

As it is a news website, it gets all the hits in the first few minutes that a new news article is published, so I am not getting the revenue I should be for the number of hits.

This is an example of a post which is displaying the ads OK –> [ redundant link removed ]

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

the plugin only inserts ad codes:
    https://adinserter.pro/faq/how-ad-inserter-works

Ads are served (displayed) by the ad network.
In your case this is Google which needs to crawl the pages before it starts to serve ads.

You can use debugging functions to check if and where the blocks are inserted:

    Hi ??

I understand that – I was using 100% Auto ads before, but it was placing too many ads in the body of the news article.

Are you saying that I have to wait for Google to crawl the website, before Ad Inserter ads will be displayed?

    Thanks.

    Yes.

And sometimes ads will not be served and you’ll get blank ad blocks.

    That is a nightmare!

99% of my hits happen in the first 30 minutes that a news article post goes live.

So I’m losing 99% of my revenue, because Google hasn’t crawled the website yet ??

I’ve just tried using Google Search Console to crawl the post page and that *seems* to have made it work!

I’ve just tried using Google Search Console to crawl another new post and it seems to have worked again.

Maybe you could add an auto-crawler to the Ad Inserter plug in, to help make ads appear faster?

That would *really* help if it is possible??

    Great!

I believe there is already some plugin that might do what you are looking for.

Anyway, as soon as the visitors start visiting your page, they also trigger Google crawlers so in most cases no further action would be needed.

    Thanks ?? ?? ??

I don’t suppose you know the name of the plug in – I’ve had a look and can’t find one ??

No clue, never needed any such plugin.

    Lucky you ??

But I guess a lot of users of Ad Inserter have time-sensitive or news sites where it is very, very important to make sure that ads are displayed as soon as possible after the post is published.

As I mentioned earlier, if it takes up to two hours for the ads to be served, everyone who wants to read the article already has – so for ads to take that long to appear is pointless. I know it is a Google issue, but ads really need to appear immediately and the URL inspector tool helps speed it up to a couple of minutes from a couple of hours. ??
