Have a strange issue that I am not sure has been covered here yet. I’ve managed to get Amp pages to display one day. It shows the ad at the top, but nothing in the actual content. I don’t want to overwhelm viewers with ads, but it’d be nice to have at least one or two addition ads in the actual text and near pictures ect.

Is there something I need to change? The desktop version is showing just enough ads while the Amp pages just show the hovering ad at the top.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @jmart1987 thanks for getting in touch. Looking at your site I can see that you have Site Kit setup and correctly placing your AdSense code. Everything looks good from the Site Kit side of things.

Are you currently using auto ads for your site? This AdSense guide may be useful to you. If you are still having issues with the placement of your ads, this is something that falls out of the scope of the Site Kit support. I’d recommend checking the AdSense Help Center for more help on this.

Yep. Auto ads have been enabled for AMP and the site in general. I take it that Site Kit does not add the two necessary codes to the head and body tags? I can’t seem to find them in the code so that might be the most likely culprit.

Edit – Never mind. The codes are actually in there. Auto ads for AMP is turned on, in-page ads is on, and anchors ads is on. The header ad seems to be the only one visible though. None of the in-page ads are showing.

Going to tinker with some of the plugins and other things to see if I can figure something out.

@jmart1987 Yes as you’ve mentioned, Site Kit has placed the AdSense code on AMP pages and the AMP version of the Auto ads snippet. As long as AMP is enabled at AdSense level – which it is by default, then Auto ads will appear on both AMP and non AMP pages.

If you’re comparing the ads that appear, then check and compare from mobile. Search Engines will likely only serve the AMP version on mobile, where more ads are likely to appear than on desktop (on your AMP URLs).

As this falls out of the support of the Site Kit plugin I’d advise any further help and questions for this would best be directed to the AdSense Help Center.

    Good luck with your ads.
