    this might be long lol.

In 2018-19, I started to create my website (salsaddict.com) and managed to insert Ads with the advanced ads plug-in, everything was super easy and functional. However, I did not keep up with the site, WP or google Ad-sense and Google deactivated the ads until I confirmed my “address PIN”. Just recently did I do that but now, after updating everything in WP and all its plug-ins, the same ads that used to work before now don’t appear. I decided to “start from scratch” and try to delete everything in Advanced ads and Ad-sense but seems I’m not able to do so even though I deleted the ad unit in Ad-sense. Anyway, I’m stuck. I’m not a tech-savy person so I don’t know what else to do. I’m able to create the ad but it only appears as a white empty space. There are times that the “block” doesn’t even appear until I refresh the same page. please help. I’m super frustrated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi salsaddicton2,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I checked your website and can confirm that you embedded the manually placed AdSense ads correctly. Also, your ads.txt file is fine and accessible. You have done everything right from your side and have not set anything wrong.

In addition to the manually placed blank AdSense ads, I’ve also noticed Auto Ads on your website. AdSense inserts the ad code, but they also remain blank. This indicates that the problem lies with AdSense and not with your website.

From experience, it can take a while until AdSense starts to fill the ad spaces with ads. So I can’t really give you any advice other than to wait patiently for AdSense to start displaying ads.

The only thing you could check is if you have your website listed under AdSense > Websites. Please add your URL, if you cannot see it on that page. And if you are already in your AdSense account, could you please navigate to AdSense > Account > Policy Centre and check if you see any notifications there, e.g. regarding invalid traffic.

If the problem with AdSense doesn’t go away soon and you want to start monetizing the site, you could also test other ad networks in parallel with AdSense. Here you can find some suggestions.

Best regards and I hope that you don’t need to wait so long,

    Joachim

    Hi salsaddicton2,

I checked your website again and the AdSense ads are showing up now. Therefore, I will close this topic. If you have any further questions, please open a new one.

    Best regards,
    Joachim
